Everyone at Yodle plays a pivotal role in the company’s overall success. Here, there’s no such thing as slipping through the cracks. We’ve maintained our startup culture for a reason: to create an environment where you can own your ideas and run with them, no matter where you happen to fall on the org chart.
Job Description
Are you passionate about using the very best of technologies on the iOS platform to solve real business problems? Do you crave the fire and energy of a startup but appreciate the resources and stability of a larger organization? Then we want you to be a part of our growing mobile team! We have a large engineering department but our mobile team is still small, so you will have lots of say in our mobile architecture, code standards, and processes. You will be joining accomplished developers who believe strongly in good architecture, design patterns, and automated testing. You’ll be able to apply your experience to an app that faces unique challenges, but also have the flexibility to prototype and come up with ideas on your own. We believe in hiring people who love what they do!

The first product in our suite that you will be working on is Lighthouse for Field Service, our app for field-based businesses like contractors and cleaning services ( You will work alongside UX specialists, UI designers and server-side developers to build out features like offline support, GPS tracking, and innovative calendar views, all according to Apple’s high design standards. Using Xcode and Objective-C, you will create fast, stable code, with technologies such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Location, and Couchbase. You will write unit and UI tests using XCTest, OCMock, KIF, and Appium, which will run automatically as part of our build process. Where appropriate, your work can be open-sourced to be shared with the world!

We are proud of our strong agile environment, multidisciplinary teams, and culture of respect. Our engineers are deeply involved in the entire product design and development process. We regularly host internal hackathons where developers work on fascinating projects. And most of all, we have fun doing it! Come join us!
