Job Description
The Marketing Ops Project Manager is a key person within the Marketing Operations team. This person works on developing traffic/project management processes for the MET (with the support of the Ops Director and Associate Managers). This person will work together with the regional Associate Project Managers on each of the regional teams and ensure processes and quality control is being followed.

Responsibilities will include:
Process Management:

  • Own the MRM traffic management process
  • Prepare daily email reports and help prepare weekly and quarterly SLA reports
  • Review all traffic management processes and identify areas of improvement such as improved asset quality control review, better management of projects and how the execution team can communicate changes to the traffic team
  • Meet weekly with regional APMs to understand issues in schedules, asset quality control, etc. and recommend process improvements to improve the service request and allocation to team process
  • Understand MRM Works/Workfront functionality at an expert level and guide/mentor the team on team best practices
  • Responsible for the traffic management process and documentation and ensure regional teams are trained and following the process
  • Works with team leads to establish a process for ensuring internal deadlines and SLAs are met, status updates are consistent and given high priority especially for projects at risk and behind
  • Help ensure that project time tracking and budget reconciliations are accurate and updated
  • Maintain the integrity of the MRM service delivery process
Ensure the Traffic Management Team Responsibilities are being followed:
  • Understand the scope of the project in order to best work with, guide and manage the tasks and assigned team members that will be involved.
  • Facilitates the final AQC (asset quality control) process review of all incoming assets prior to delivery to Marketing Automation Team team, Client or partners.
  • Once assets pass AQC process, work with team leads to ensure the right team members (with necessary experience/skill set) are assigned to the work.
  • Monitors work in progress and tracks status daily via status meetings by ensuring the production calendar is up to date, the project/service updates are up to date
Required skills
Exhibits good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and the client. Must be self- motivated and willing to work extra hours and/or inconvenient times as the job requires. Must exhibit keen attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, and general-business skills. Can competently and cheerfully handle multiple priorities. 

Education / Experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in project management or related role required
  • 1+ years’ of agency experience preferred
  • 1+ years’ of management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Required Skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of e-mail/scheduling software applications
  • Working knowledge of content and digital asset management systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and multitasking skills
  • Strong creative problem solving skills
