Job Description
About This Job:
The marketing manager is responsible for nurturing retail customers. This position will execute scoring mechanisms for targeting upgraded programs for all commercial brands through email, direct mail, digital events and outreach. This position requires exceptional creativity, product sales and customer service experience, database and direct marketing skills. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in customer engagement and revenue growth through email and direct mail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, complex environment.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Meet and exceed call and revenue goals for nurturing retail and upgraded memberships
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategies for retention and acquisition
  • Develop content/communications for product/travel inspiration, redemption, renewals, etc.
  • Manage lists, create content calendars, write and coordinate assets for email and direct mail
  • Coordinate with product teams and other departments using organizational and competitive data
  • Plan and execute digital outreach events and other opportunities to nurture and promote membership
 
 
Qualifications/Requirements of the Position:
 
  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, or Membership Management (preferred) MBA (a plus)
  • Five years’ experience in a fast-paced marketing environment with a content creation focus
  • Strategic planning and marketing skills
  • Understanding of marketing retention and acquisition plans
  • Strong database and Email Service Provider management skills (Marketo strongly preferred)
  • Analytical skills: marketing metrics and analytics, evaluation of programs, surveys
  • Web interface and social media experience
  • Able to craft quality emails and direct mail, adhere to brand, voice and audience guidelines
  • Ability to plan, set and meet timelines
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for growth
  • Market research experience in understanding how to use data to drive marketing plans
  • Able to collaborate well with a variety of staff and stakeholders
  • Must be a meticulous multi-tasker and have some experience with print/mail coordination
